Review: “The Great Darkness Saga” rolls on and The Legion creative team continues to deliver the goods. Writer Paul Levitz serves up a well-paced mix of mystery, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and superheroics. More importantly, he juggles the Legion’s vast cast without the book ever feeling crowded; it seems every cast member gets an authentic character moment. Read today, the Master’s identity is no great secret, but Little Me was spellbound waiting for the reveal back in ’82. Levitz has a perfect partner in Keith Giffen, who delivers splendid design work and masterful fight choreography. Simply an excellent superhero comic!
