Review: This merchandise catalog from Superhero Enterprises – which became Heroes World Distribution – was an early effort to cater to the emerging fan market. The publication featured a wide range of geek goods from toys and print goods to clothing and home decor. It was produced by the students of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, with this particular issue featuring a delightful Christmas-themed cover from Kubert himself. Little Me had no idea this thing existed; that’s a good thing for Mom and Dad because the “I WANT, I WANT, I WANTS” would have been relentless!

The other cover, also by Joe Kubert

Grade: N/A

Cool factor: EVERYTHING in these pages is at least a little cool.
Not-so-cool factor: How could Little Me not have known about this?

Collector’s note: This issues was released with two different covers.

A word from the publisher: “Here we are once more with gobs and gobs of of gargantuoso things to rap about (bet you can’t wait to read on).” – Ivan “The Great One” Snyder, AKA Snyderman
